George H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship

The George H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship fund is a scholarship program for the recognition of forensic science and criminal justice students. Each year, students may be selected to receive a scholarship grant of $500 and a certificate of recognition.

Applicants shall be a member of the Chesapeake Bay Division - I.A.I. or a member of the immediate family of a Chesapeake Bay Division - I.A.I. member (excluding current officers, board members, or trustees). Applicants shall have completed a minimum of 15 hours of college credit when applying. Applicants must be currently pursuing or intending to pursue a career in forensic science or criminal justice. The award is based on the information provided in the application including the applicant's scholastic record, personal statement, faculty recommendations, and letters of reference. The Chesapeake Bay Division - I.A.I. shall not be responsible for delays in the receipt of applications due to circumstances beyond its control. Applications and any attachments become the property of the Chesapeake Bay Division - I.A.I. Applications are confidential under the Privacy Act of 1974, et al.

Awards shall be presented at the Fall Educational Conferences of the Chesapeake Bay Division - I.A.I.
