Vendor Outreach

The Chesapeake Bay Division of the International Association for Identification is one of the largest and most active of the IAI Divisions, and, holds a membership of well over 500 people. CBD-IAI members are from; the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

We value our working relationship with the vendors that support our Division. The CBD-IAI has instituted some programs and initiatives designed to enhance the participation and visibility of vendors who choose to participate at our twice-yearly meetings.

Some of these initiatives are listed below:

Vendor Introductions at Welcoming Remarks

Be certain to be available at the Welcoming Remarks held at the start of our Educational Conferences. The Division's Vendor Coordinator will provide introductions and will award Certificates of Attendance to vendors participating at the conference. Scheduled Meeting Breaks
Three (3) Break-Times are scheduled into our Educational Conferences in order to attract members to the vendor display area at the conference. A Friday afternoon break, a Saturday morning break, and a Saturday afternoon break are three opportunities for the vendors to enjoy member's attention without competing with conference presentations. Vendor-Sponsored Events
A vendor may sponsor a meeting break, or, a social meeting. Light-fare snacks and beverages are normally provided to the members attending these sessions. Vendor-Sponsored Door Prizes
A vendor may sponsor door prizes to be distributed at the Saturday night Banquet. Advertising in the Chesapeake Examiner Newsletter
Vendors may advertise space in our official newsletter - the Chesapeake Examiner. Contact the CBD-IAI Vendor Coordinator for details regarding space size and rates. Links on the CBD-IAI Website
