Chesapeake Bay Division
of the   International Association for Identification

Education Committee

Background:
The Chesapeake Bay Division of the International Association for Identification feels it has an on-going responsibility/commitment to provide training for its members within the five-state area of the organization in addition to the training offered at its two Educational Conferences held in the Spring and Fall.

Purpose:

  1. Serve as a liaison between law enforcement agencies, colleges and other non-profit groups that wish to receive training in various forensic related topics.
  2. Provide that training ourselves or find sources to provide training.
  3. Use these opportunities to promote the CBD-IAI to increase membership.
  4. Provide members (through committee appointment) an opportunity to demonstrate their sincere desire to be involved in CBD-IAI operations.
  5. Provide brief bi-annual reports to the Editor for publication in the Chesapeake Examiner, our official publication.
