I hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday season and that everyone is well and ready to get started with the New Year. We are moving right along with plans for the upcoming meetings and everything is going well. I would like to thank my officers who are working hard to help me bring everything together.
At this time I would like to thank all those who agreed to work on committees and take offices for this year; especially the members of the Crime Scene Certificaton Committee, who have been working diligently to get that committee running smoothly.
John, the Fall Conference in Aberdeen was wonderful. For all those who missed it, it was a real treat. The costume party was one of those events where you had to be there to truly appreciate it. The highlight of the conference for me was being able to share this special time with Curtis Shane, International President, and forever a Chesapeake Bay member. Thank you Curt for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend it with us. It really meant more than you will ever know.
As all those who were present at the Banquet know, I am not much for speeches so for now I'll just say that I am looking forward to a fun and productive year. See everyone at the Wilmington Hilton, May 14 and 15, for the Spring Meeting.

I hope that the Summer months have found you all well and rested and ready for another round of life.
I want to thank everyone for their support at the Wilmington Conference. You missed a really good meeting! We had everything from a fire alarm to a baby shower! The Conference went well, was very informative, and was well attended.
I am looking forward to the upcoming Educational Conference in Salisbury, MD. It is a wonderful city with a little bit of something for everyone. Since it is an area we haven't really been in before, I am encouraging everyone to come out. Once again, we have a well-rounded and informative Speakers Program planned for you, as well as, a Friday night Eastern Shore Crab Feast with all the trimmings and options. It will be a piece of summer before having to face the cold winter months! Hope to see ya'al in Salisbury!
