Robert L. Johnson Message |
February 1988
I want to thank you the members of the Chesapeake Bay for the confidence that you have shown by electing me to the Office of President for the year 1987-1988. I also want to express on behalf of all the Officers their appreciation to you in electing them to serve with me.
Congratulations to Russell McNatt for a most successful year as President of our Division. Russ, your Spring Conference in Dover and the Fall Conference in Ocean City were outstanding both in attendance and substance.
Or course, the highlight of our meeting in Ocean City was the presentation of the Lil Jenkins Achievement Award. The award was presented to our Secretary-Treasurer Randy Goodwin. No one has worked harder for our Association and deserves to be honored in this manner more than Randy. Congratulations again, Randy.
Our Spring Conference will be held at the Embers Motel in Carlisle, Pennsylavania from May 13 to 15, 1988. We believe that it will be entertaining and enjoyable but most of all educational. More details are forthcoming. Please make your hotel reservatons early because the hotel will release our block of rooms thirty days prior to the Seminar.
I hope each of you had happy holidays and will have a healthty and prosperous New Year.
