
George H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship Application
Eligibility:
Applicants who wish to apply shall have the following requirements:

Full-time undergraduate student entering at least their sophomore year OR
-
Full or part time graduate student

Enrolled in a forensic science or criminal justice program at an accredited college or university with an intended career path within forensic science or criminal justice

Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
If enrolled in summer classes, the updated transcript needs to be submitted after summer classes are completed.
Note: Scholarship fund trustees and members of the immediate family of trustees are not eligible.

Before submitting the application, the following documents are required:
Section A is an online application form and shall be filled out in its entirety. As part of this application,the below questions must be answered:

What is your motivation for applying for this scholarship?

What are your educational and career goals?

Describe your interest in the field of forensic science and/or criminal justice and provide details of your involvement in any projects, research, personal or professional experience, internships, organizations or clubs, etc.

Please provide any additional information you feel is valuable for the CBD-IAI to consider when reviewing your application.
Section B of the application requires the applicant to submit their most recent transcript of allcompleted undergraduate and/or graduate coursework.
Section C of the application requires the submission of three letters of recommendation, one of whichmust be from a faculty member. The committee recommends obtaining the three letters from varioussources to demonstrate a versatile portfolio.
The scholarship recipient will be announced at the upcoming Educational Conference.
